If you choose to work in our Business Advisory team, you will gain experience in areas such as superannuation; wealth creation strategies; tax planning; management analysis; strategic business advice; compliance (financial statement and taxation return preparations); and succession planning to name a few. Our team specialises in delivering a full range of advisory services to the diverse, and rapidly expanding middle-market business sector.
Audit & Assurance Services
If auditing is your chosen field, you’ll gain experience in numerous areas such as external and internal audits; risk management; forensic accounting; financial analysis; independent expert’s reports; IT assurance; AIFRS; financial reporting; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; independence and conflict services; litigation support services; probity services and pre-lending reviews. You’ll be working with the team to assist medium to large private, and medium to large public companies. A lot of your time will be spent out of the office working at client premises when working in this division.
If working in the Corporate Advisory team is what interests you, then you’ll find yourself assisting both private and public companies with a variety of corporate transactions. Some of these transactions are: employee share ownership plans; business and share valuations; purchase price allocations and impairment reviews; acquisitions and divestments; due diligence reviews. The team focuses on valuations and litigation support, mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings, including listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.
If Tax is your thing you’ll enjoy working with our Tax Services team who provide practical and meaningful advice to our clients. You’ll work with the team to assist clients with ongoing taxation compliance, and taxation issues that arise from larger transactions and more specific issues. You’ll gain experience in some of the following areas: tax planning; employee share plans; risk assessment; remuneration planning and salary packaging; tax risk management strategies; structuring and restructuring investment and business operations in Australia and overseas; and merger and acquisition transaction structuring.
How does gaining experience in portfolio management; superannuation; wealth creation strategies; strategic financial planning; estate planning; buy/sell agreements and succession planning sound to you? By working in our Wealth Advisory team you will work alongside financial planners and accountants who advise private High Net Worth and corporate clients on their investment strategies.
If you want to gain experience in areas such as bankruptcy; expert witness reporting; receivership; court/official liquidation; voluntary administration or investigative accountant reporting then our Business Recovery Services team is where you should be. The team works towards achieving results for stakeholders through formal or informal appointments in the corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction areas.
